Praise to God

Psalms 95:6-7

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the lord our maker. For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.”

Right where you are, stop and take a second to look around you. What do you see? The sky? Birds? Nature? A child playing? Your husband or wife? Your children or child? Can you feel the wind tickling your face? Right now I’m sitting on my couch with my sleeping toddler curled up against me. His little snores echoing through my ears, such a wonderful and precious sound. Our children are such precious gifts from God. So amazing how His miracles work! It takes just a short 10 months a little tiny being is created. All the glory to God. Those little hands, which will someday fit entirely around your finger. That little nose, which you will some day rub yours against during Eskimo kisses. Those little chunky cheeks which you will someday kiss and rub your hand across as they sleep. Those little feet which will kick you, run to you, you will tickle to get that beautiful smile and precious giggle. All the wonderful little details that we owe praise to God!

Everywhere we look we can see miracles, beauty created by our Father. “God deserves to be praised and He is worthy to receive our praise.” 2 Samuel 22:4

Who is to praise God? “Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord.” Psalms 150:6

We cannot truly embrace the true joy and benefits of praising God unless we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. Our bodies act as temples for the Holy Spirit, who is in us. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 we were bought at a price, therefore honor God with your body.

Dear lord, I thank you for today and I thank you for giving your only begotten son to save us from our sins. I thank you for all the wonderful and beautiful little details of this earth and beyond. I thank you for our families and for our sisters and brothers in Christ. But most of all I thank you for you! You are our Lord, our Father, our savior and our everything! We love you and we praise you! Amen!
